Shatevia knows what is like to feel misunderstood and not heard. Shatevia believes that many of the behaviors that adolescents and teens have stem from feelings of being misunderstood and not being able to effectively communicate their needs. Shatevia specializes in guiding adolescents and young women in finding their voice and mastering their communication and behavior so they can thrive in home and at school. Shatevia also specializes in working with women who have experienced childhood trauma or who deal with social cultural issues that prevent them from living their best lives.

Shatevia is a graduate of Columbus State University and has a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Shatevia is trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and expressive therapy. Shatevia believes in an integrative approach to therapy which allows her to achieve the best results for her clients.
